Wuxi is located in eastern China, approximately 120 kilometers from Shanghai. It was ranked second by Forbes Magazine in 2005 amongst China's "Best Places to do Business" and was ranked 11th in a 2006 study of China's most competitive cities.
Hongshan District is approximately 20 kilometers from downtown Wuxi and is adjacent to Wuxi's high technology and industrial parks.
